Our long-term work with Water UK, the representative body for the UK’s water and wastewater service providers, continues to provide the UK water industry companies with a range of stakeholder engagement activities whilst developing key relationships with industry regulators, government departments and key environmental and customer organisations.

Since 1998, Lodestar has provided Water UK with a full events management service including project delivery on all its’ conferences, think tanks and dinners. Additionally, Lodestar manages the overall partner sponsorship programme and stakeholder strategy for both client and partner. These services have provided the water industry with a platform from which to communicate its concerns and share thinking with all other interested parties in a topic that is of crucial interest as environmental awareness around the world increases.

The Lodestar team behind the scenes also originally built and maintained the central industry knowledge base and information resource that is the Water UK website.

Events

The internationally recognised certified training programme, developed by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), is now available in the UK and Northern Ireland through Lodestar. The course provides the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge on sustainability reporting, using presentations and interactive learning with UK case studies throughout.
