As one of Lodestar's trainers for the certified GRI G4 training course, Gail provides sustainability consultancy and training to corporate and public sector clients. Gail advises them on their corporate sustainability programmes, stakeholder engagement plans, assists in identifying material issues and supports their reporting process. Prior to working at Lodestar, Gail managed Nortel's Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability communications and was instrumental in Nortel becoming one of the London 2012 Olympic Games’ Sustainability Partners.
As a co-founding Director, Julie Fitzsimmins has delivered a diverse range of business strategy training sessions on topics such as corporate planning, sector strategy and key account management. Julie is part of the faculty for the Alp Alkas Retail & Real Estate Center in Istanbul covering sponsorship and commercialisation.
Julie developed corporate reporting training with the Global Reporting Initiative for the UK market and has delivered the certified training programme for GRI in the UK for over 5 years. She has supported organisations such as Nestlé, Rockwool, Deloitte and the FSC in developing their corporate reporting. In 2013 she developed and delivered a Masterclass as part of the GRI Global Conference launching G4 focusing on driving change by linking sustainability strategy to reporting. She developed the Non-Financial Reporting Forum concept in collaboration with ACCA and Deloitte and took part in and facilitated business leaders panel sessions, reporting frameworks discussions and a debate about where the sector is going next.
