Cost of adaptation to climate change
This year's Asset Managment Forum seminar at IWEX addressed the cost of adaptation to climate change for the water industry. The Asset Management Forum has been desiged by Lodestar for Water UK to facilitate discussion around the price review mechanism for asset management professionals.
Climate change is of critical importance to the water industry and could have huge implications on water supply, the water environment and the
industry’s assets. Water UK’s Asset Management Forum hosted a high profile debate and discussion session focusing on the impacts of climate change. Gren Messham, Director of Asset Management and Technology at Severn Trent chaired this panel discussion with George Day, Head of Capital Maintenance, Ofwat, Ray Doughty, Chairman, SBWWI and other senior industry representatives.
