ICSC Retail Connections 2008
ICSC held the first Retail Connections at Excel London, the one-of-a-kind event was a great success and took place on Tuesday 29 January with attendees from across Europe and beyond.
Throughout the day over 140 retailers and 25 developers from across Europe and beyond discussed leasing deals in pipeline and existing shopping centres. Meetings were pre-arranged through the online ICSC meeting system to ensure retailers and developers benefited from planned, structured meetings.
A drinks reception followed by a celebratory dinner at the historic Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London allowed for further networking time and the chance to cement relationships.
Developers in attendance included Altarea, Anchor Grup, Apsys Group, Bouwfonds MAB, Capital Shopping Centres, Chamartín, Citycon Oyj, Delta Real Estate, Duprocom, ECE, Hammerson, Henderson Global Investors, ING Real Estate, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Land Securities, Macromir, Multi Development, Orco Property Group, Redevco, Riofisa, Sonae Sierra and Steen & Strøm.
Retailers at the event incuded Debenhams, Arcadia, Baltika Group, Build-A-Bear, C&A, Flexa, Footlocker, GameStop, Levi Strauss, LPP SA, Puma, Sacoor Brothers and The Body Shop.
