Water UK City Conference 2010

Water UK's annual City Conference is the water industry's foremost financial event.
Organised by Lodestar Marketing, the conference took place on Thursday 25 February 2010 and focused on issues beyond PR09 as the water industry faces up to delivering investment plans in the face of challenges such as climate change, population growth, more demanding consumers, and increasing environmental regulation.
Keynote speaker Huw Irranca-Davies MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State & Minister for Marine and Natural Environment announced a review of Ofwat. More details to follow shortly.
Other speakers included Colin Skellett, Chairman, Wessex Water; Regina Finn, Chief Executive, Ofwat; and Richard Barlett, Head of Debt Capital Markets, Royal Bank of Scotland.
