Whilst the number of attendees may have been fewer at MIPIM this year, business was still brisk with scores of meetings under the blue skies of Cannes last week.
Boris Johnson opened the London stand with a rousing talk and a positive outlook leading from now through to 2012 together with all the opportunity that is on offer to the property and construction industry during that time. Good meetings with many people including Wolverhampton City, Europa Property Awards, Chapman Taylor, Willis, Halcrow Yolles as well as a host of events with IPD, Overbury, AET, Edinburgh City to name a few.
On the lighter side, Gifford, Lodestar and Construction Photography kept the side up in their efforts during Davies Arnold Cooper’s annual Boules competition but no final prizes to return with!
