Gleeds - sustainability strategy and away day
Lodestar worked with Gleeds, International Management and Construction Consultants, to develop their approach to sustainability, linking it to their corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment as well as their overall approach to their client projects.
To date this has involved the development and delivery of internal surveys, consultancy support and a bespoke sustainability away day for 42 of the Gleeds’ staff team identified as having an interest in sustainability.
The particular format for this Away Day was developed to ensure that the Gleeds participants had the opportunity to contribute their own thinking and ideas through a series of facilitated working group sessions. The discussions on the day were captured in a report and the recommendations will now be used to form Gleeds’ long-term sustainability strategy.
This work has shared current thinking, challenged future thinking and set corporate and client based objectives around the increasingly important issue of sustainability in a business context.
